Illinois Home Gets a Glam Makeover

iNSPIRE Q is back with another home remodel! This time, we went with a high-luxe glam look for our client. For this Illinois home makeover in particular, we chose a clean, neutral grey color palette throughout.

So when it came time for our designers to pick out the pieces of iNSPIRE Q furniture, they wanted to go with subtle pops of color and sleek, Art-Deco style. We had a iNSPIRE Q team member paint all the wall art specifically in each room to bring out the personality of the space.

Throughout the entire home, you will notice each room has a different vibe, from timeless and classy to homey and down-to-earth. We purposefully did this because we wanted each room to have its own personality for all to enjoy.

Living Room

Our formal front living room in our Illinois home makeover. The living room has two grey linen upholstered accent chairs, two grey linen upholstered stools, a grey linen upholstered cocktail ottoman, and a white fabric upholstered tuxedo sofa. Many of the pieces also feature chrome finishes for that glam touch, while blue accent pillows and wall paintings add a pop of color. A fireplace is in the center of the room, between two windows, and has a TV mounted on the wall above it.

Dining Room

Here we show our formal dining room in our Illinois home makeover. A rectangular, stainless steel dining table is the centerpiece of the room. It has a grey table runner with three glass vases. Surrounding the table are four grey velvet button tufted parsons chairs and two grey velvet button tufted wingback chairs on the ends. Behind the dining set is a mirrored console table, minimally decorated with blue and silver décor. Hanging above the dining table is a sleek, round chandelier.

Kitchen

This is the kitchen in our Illinois home makeover. There is an island in the middle of the image, surrounded by four counter height stools. The stools are wood, with panel backs, antique black finish, and black and white checkered patterned seat cushions.

Bedroom

This is one of the bedrooms part of our Illinois home makeover. The centerpiece is a stunning canopy bed with a chrome metal frame and a black bonded leather button tufted headboard. This bed is decorated with bedding of various purple shades, primarily deep purple to complement the black headboard. At the foot of the bed are two stools, both of which are upholstered in black faux leather. There are three mirrored nightstands in the room, two of which are by the bed while the third is a 3-drawer piece off to the side.
This shows the bedroom from another angle. We still have the canopy bed in the middle of the room and the black faux leather stools at the foot of the bed. Now we see a black dresser against the wall. The dresser is decorated with a few framed photos and other pieces of décor while a black sunburst mirror hangs above it. On the side of the bed is a mirrored 1-drawer nightstand.
This is a wider view of the bedroom. We still see the canopy bed, the two footstools, and the three mirrored end tables. We also see an accent chair with acrylic legs and black velvet upholstery. On the floor is a faux cowhide print rug.

Home Office

Now we have the home office. In the center of the office is an L-shaped corner desk in a cherry finish with helix legs. Behind the desk is an upholstered parsons chair with a brown leaf print on it. The table has an antique brass finished desk lamp, some brown pieces of décor, a book, and a cup of pencils.

Kids Room

One of the corners in our kids bedroom. It features a black-finished desk with helix legs. A brown faux leather upholstered parsons chair sits in front of it. The desk has a book, some pencils on it, and a fox-shaped table lamp. On the hardwood floors next to the desk is a white modular stackable storage bin, filled with spare blankets.

Spare Room
